Post 5825 Honor Guard
![]() Shortly after World War II Ended, a dedicated group of members of VFW Post 5825 formed an Honor Guard to honor their own fallen dead as well as those from earlier wars. The men traveled to cemeteries in Ferguson Township each Memorial Day to salute the graves of these honored veterans. They made themselves available upon request to stand guard at funerals; they provided graveside ceremonies, including the very moving flag-folding and presentation ceremony and the even more moving trumpet sound of "Taps" for the last resting place of these soldiers, sailors, marines, members of the airforce and coastguard.
If you would like the VFW Post 5825 Honor Guard to serve at the funeral of your loved one, please contact Mike Tussey at VRW POST 5825 HONORGUARD ************************************************************
